Why the "People of Wal-Mart" analogy is ridiculous.

I can't believe I'm even forced to address this. How in God's name can you compare PeopleOfWalMart.com to MomDot.com and Trisha Haas' blog?

Let's start with the basics shall we? POWM is meant to be a mean spirited and funny blog. They didn't start the blog to set an example, talk about their favorite tuna packets, give quaint anecdotes about what little Joey said to Santa when he was sitting on his lap. They quite simply started the blog as a bit of fun and others found it funny. They aren't out there pitching to sponsors and sponsors (most sponsors anyway) don't look to them to be role models or act as spokespeople for their products. Quite simply it's meant to be the ultimate in snark. However, even as low brow as their version of comedy is, even they have the decency to mask the identities of their targets, especially minors.

On the other hand, momdot.com actively pitches sponsors, Trisha holds herself up as a model for the mommy blogging community and sponsors want to work with mommy bloggers for not only what societies preconceived notions of what a mom is (mom knows best and mom will never steer you wrong) and should be but because they also know, moms speak to other moms about what works for them.

The problem is, being a mean mommy is pretty much at odds as to what major corporations want in a spokes-mom. That's not to say a mom can't stand up for herself, or fight for what's right, or even lash out after having a bad experience whether it's at the mall or with a bottle of laundry detergent. However, when you delve into picking on children, people who look different than you, or picking on those who look different from what you're used to seeing in your small shitstick town it reeks of at best of jr. high school behavior and at worst intolerance and bigotry. Not really a good example for society at large much less mothers who are tasked with setting an example for their children, and if you have a popular parenting blog, for other moms out there.

On top of that, large corporations are interested in protecting their brands and when they have spokespeople that tarnish their brand then they typically jettison them off.

I do hope that clears up why the lunacy of this comparison is woefully inaccurate.

  1. I am so happy to see her finally getting a taste of her own medicine! I stopped following her blog a long time ago when I realized how judgemental she is. I accidently clicked on the wrong bookmark last night which led me to her whine about being harrassed. A quick Google search led me to your site to see what all the fuss was about. I am appauled that she thinks it is OK to take pictures of strangers and make fun of them on her blog. What's next for her, making fun of a child with cancer because the steroids they are on makes them gain weight? It is horrible how she is so quick to judge others when she has no clue what is happening in their lives.

Someone needs to start an email to find the parents of that child, they deserve to know what was posted about her so they can put Trisha in her place.

  2. Trisha Haas has long been pissing people. She's ruined two mommy forums because she manipulates and plays people against each other. She is a con-artist in disguise. She uses Charlotte as an excuse to get people to feel sorry for her and give her things. I mean, come on who auctions their 4 year old artwork on eBay so the kid can get a swing set? If she would get off her lazy ass and get a REAL job she would have to pawn her kids work. She claimed to make $2,000 a MONTH from MomDot. If she is bringing in that kind of cash then she could afford lawyers, Christmas, mortgage and new teeth. She's full of lies and excuses. Her problem is she thinks she is holier than thou. She blocks ANYONE that has a differing opinion than hers. That's cheap. She can't stand for someone to be smarter than her. So she tries to look so smart she doesn't have to use spell check. Whatever. I used to go to MomDot just to see her horn tooting self. It's amazing that so many people drink the Kool-Aid.

  3. Just something to ponder.
    Remember Bloggers Give?
According to Trisha, you were to have a company send a product to review to you and a product for to Trisha for her to "donate".
What a nice tax write off for her and did we ever actually see real proof that she donated the items sent?
She used innocent children to get a tax write off and land free stuff with no effort at all.
I have no problem donating to children in need and I have donated a lot of the items that companies have sent me to review to children and charities. I also have no problem donating to causes online but "Bloggers Give" just did not sit right with me. It should have been titled "Bloggers Give to Trisha" instead.

  4. Trisha Haas is a little guppy compared to the filth and disgust that comes out of this mommy bloggers keyboard: http://www.momspective.com/random-tuesday-thoughts-swine-flu-mannequin-retards/

She has major sponsors and talks about going on trips with her sponsors, posts pictures of being felt up by Elmo, compares her children to South Park, but the comment about 'retards' and how her peeing in the shower makes her one is just unacceptable.
I cannot believe that sponsors work with her. She clearly buys traffic as her alexa and compete are no where near each other. Why are we not concentarting on more bloggers like this?

    ReplyDelete
  5. I went to Momsperspective. The post on the South Park Kid must be her own. She says they aren't like that anymore. I understand there are lots of bloggers out there that go against the grain. It's one thing to post your opinions. It's something entirely different when you do what Trisha Haas is doing. She is a poser.

  6. Oh God...ok Trisha, or follower, above- the POWM distraction didn't work so you're trying again, huh? I know it's tough for spoiled baby Trisha when someone doesn't back down and fall for her manipulating. Sounds like someone's pretty scared.

  7. Above me

She's off color - yes...but she's not being hateful toward others...and she's not targeting specific people. There's a big difference between Moms Perspective and Momdot.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Other Anon- I totally agree. Trisha likes to pick on specific people to make herself feel better. How would she feel if someone picked on Charlotte?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Good point! Maybe what she needs is a dose of her own medicine. A picture of HER daughter with totally inappropriate comments posted all over the internet.

BUT for the sake of Charlotte...not Trisha...I would never do such a thing.

To the person who said about contacting the airport girl's parents...I hope with every bone in my body that none of them ever see that any of this happened. I just can't imagine the pain it would cause.

  14. Trisha Haas Needs a Nose Job has made it to the big time. It's listed at #294 on PR Friendly Blogs at MomDot. Woo Hoo. (if you couldn't tell there was some sarcasm in there). I guess that was in retaliation for the PR friendly blog list that was up here a while ago.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Scott..... You don't understand the reason for being Anonymous. Trisha is MEAN. She will spend every moment trying to torture someone who does not agree with her. If she knew my name, she would know my email address, my kids names, where I live.. she makes it her purpose to intimidate you if you do not agree with her. TRUST ME on this. I have seen it first hand and been the recipient too many times. I'm over what she does with her OWN life. But when she hurts other people, I just don't find that fair.

Why in the hell are you standing up for her? That's gutless.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I suffered through her insanity for long enough and as long as the owner of this blog chooses to allow us to voice our opinions anonymously I will do so. Trisha doesn't allow people to voice opinions at all if they oppose her in any way- THAT is gutless. The fact that so many anonymous people, many not even bloggers, are coming out of the woodwork should be a wake up call to her followers. I hope the reviews, PR contacts, and free products they're using her for are worth it. Either way, if it is so annoying to you that some of us refuse to reveal who we are why don't you stop coming back to read more?

    ReplyDelete
  17. @ Scott et al

Seems to me that somewhere in your numerous posts you said you had been blocked from momdot and the reason you think that happened is because you posted here. This makes sense; it happened to other people who posted here and in the OLS thread.

So you post in this blog, and even though you strongly disagree with the majority of the people here you were blocked from momdot. Yet you're not blocked from THNANJ and still able to voice your opinion. That alone should tell you something about the type of person Trisha Haas is. Do you really not understand why some choose to stay anonymous?

By the way, I for one appreciate your posts. They're well thought out and you're able to disagree without resorting to attacks. However your only strong argument is that notifying Trisha Haas' sponsors is mean, and considering the incident that started this that's rather spurious. Instead, consider how Trisha Haas has been using her followers to advance her own agenda but is willing to turn on them if they dare to annoy her. It's almost a cult mentality where all these mommy bloggers are letting her decide what they can and can't do.

And to those who think there are other sites as bad or worse than momdot, you're right. So what are you doing about it? Have you contacted the owners or sponsors? The argument that Trisha Haas should be allowed to continue ridiculing unsuspecting people and behave in an unethical manner (that reflects on her followers, by the way) because other people are doing it is not only irrelevent but reminiscent of something young children say when trying to get their own way. This blog is about Trisha Haas and momdot, it's not a campaign to "clean up" the web.

There have been a few posts here stating that since the offending post(s) have been removed from momdot that all contact with her sponsors should be stopped. Well, I read something similar on her site and the first thing that struck me was how she had quotes around the word "offensive". This means she doesn't consider what she posted as offensive, she only removed the content in an effort to placate readers and sponsors. So how long will it be before she posts something similar again? The owner of this blog has stated repeatedly that all Trisha Haas has to do it admit she was wrong, apologize, and THNANJ will be removed. Instead she has chosen to play the victim so no, she doesn't think she did anything wrong. Why does she not understand that controversy and cruelty are not the same thing?

Like it or not, her actions do reflect on her followers. Since the vast majority of mommy bloggers are great people who would never dream of posting the things that she has this isn't fair, but the reality is that many people and sponsors aren't going to take the time to sort through all of them to decide who they wish to support. Shouldn't Trisha Haas, who has benefited from the support of so many mommy bloggers, feel an obligation to them?

And Scott et al, the reason I show as anonymous here is I'm not a blogger, so I can't link to one, and I'm always reluctant to post my name on the internet, in any context. But rest assured that the emails I sent to sponsors had my full name on them.

    ReplyDelete
  18. thank you to the Anonymous above, I don't have a blogg either so that is why I show up as anonymous, thanks for letting me know that

    ReplyDelete
  19. First, to answer why I come here; Most of what is posted here and who posts it makes me sad and I am curious when some will realize there are far better things to concern themselves with, than taking Trisha down. I think this site, simply by being encourages hatefulness.

I never stated that I think posting on this site is the reason I am blocked from MomDot. I think it is because she isn't familiar with me and likely is concerned I am just another hater. I'm OK with it. I was only somewhat a regular reader, not a regular commenter and never contributed. I liked her frankness and while I didn't always agree, I liked that I knew who she was. I didn't feel she tried to be who I thought she should be, whether I liked her or not.

I don't think notifying Trisha's sponsors is mean, I think it is rude but if someone has strong enough convictions to take the time to write intelligently to a sponsor than they must feel fairly strong about and therefor I understand even if I don't agree.

It's my opinion that sponsors likely read her blog periodically and read it before advertising via that blog. I don't think it will be her commentary that stops them from advertising, I think it will be the brouhaha happening here or the likes of it that could threaten her future success and even that I am not sure about.

I have no proof that she attacks or harasses people who disagree with her. Harassment is a pretty serious offense and I would imagine those people would have cause to pursue action against her.

For the record I have been contacted by a person via email that says the same things about someone from this site. That because she is friends or simply not against Trisha she is being harassed and threatened too. Where is the difference in that? I also read this same thing on at least 2 other blogs although they didn't email me. I am guessing it is happening both ways. And it truly wouldn't surprise me based on comments I've read here.

I do appreciate that I can post here but I've always been able to post there too. And I haven't always agreed. I've never been contacted by her or anyone from there that I know of. In fact, frankly I've never received a bad comment from anyone so I can't even say maybe there was something that I didn't realize was coming from MomDot.

    ReplyDelete
  20. My disappointment in this site is the people who are here posting just to attack the girl.

You mention that she doesn't think she is 'offensive' but she removed the posts to placate readers and sponsors. Certainly no one here thinks they can change Trish Haas. Certainly everyone here realizes that at 31 years old that woman is who she is.

Removing the posts to placate seems to me the right step to make things right while still sticking to her convictions in that she meant no harm to that particular girl. That she used her as an example of what SHE SAW as unfit, overweight, and unhealthy.

I wouldn't have said it on my blog, I wouldn't have posted a picture of a child as an example of something negative but sad as it is she gives her opinion on her blog. Good or bad, straight forward, point blank.

I read an article about overweight people on airplanes last night and the picture the reporter posted was god-awful and so mean.

When I saw it, my heart was sad. And while the article was professional to a point it was still brutal and if anyone knows the man in the photograph, well, lets just say that man is humiliated beyond belief.

Should we contact every advertiser of that news organization. No, I am guessing not. We get disgusted, think about next time we might buy that paper, or choose not to and we move on, encouraging empathy, sympathy and things that are positive instead. At least I do. I want to lead by example and I would guess if everyone did that rather than focus on what a witch Trisha is she might choose other things to post about. And if not, those who don't like her posts might look for better places to hang out.

I truly believe all of this won't change Trisha but she may think twice about her posts in the future. Maybe she will scale back just enough to not so seriously offend. And that is a good thing.

The people calling names here and being so vicious aren't any better and it should stop. And as far as demanding an apology. It may be that she isn't capable. At least not in the way some of you are looking for. This may be all she can give. My guess is that many of the negative commenter's here are exactly the same way.

I think I'm glad she removed the post. I think that I agree with the person somewhere above this comment who said 'I pray that girl or her family never happens across that post if there is such a way.'

And I hope everyone here does their best to understand we are all who we are. There are great and not so great things about all of us. And we can only live peacefully amongst the world wide web if we all understand that. If we focus on the things that are good and lead by example for the things that aren't so good, a better place it will be and maybe we might just become better in process ourselves.

That is why I comment here. I hope to lead by example and encourage something different that what is being done by the majority of commenters here. (I am aware, not all)

PS I didn't realize not having a blog required an anonymous post. I thought you could still fill in a name.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Scott,
I appreciate your opinion and I think we should all be able to post our honest opinions here without being attacked but, and there is a but, I was cyber bullied by Trisha. It lasted a long while. People are posting anon because they know, have seen first hand or even gone through her vicious attacks.
Not only was my email address, mailing address, phone number, IP address, and personal private information spread all over the place I was harassed, my children were badmouthed and my husband was badmouthed. My computer was hacked and my emails emailed to others. I was bashed and badmouthed by not only her but people that she told to badmouth me. I lived a living nightmare just because she decided one day that she did not like me. I had never done a thing to her, not one damn thing. Seriously, I had no clue who she was until someone told me.
I may not be the norm, what ever that may be and I may not be who she thinks should be blogging but I am human and I have feelings.
Why did I not file any reports or anything? I tried to, but for one I could not afford an attorney and secondly, even with evidence, there was nothing anyone could do to help me. I just had to sit and wait for it to stop. If I would have committed suicide then it would have been a different story and yes, she almost drove me to that but thankfully I have my children and my husband at my side.
Do you think she cares? No she does not. As long as she ends up on top she could care less who she hurts or tramples on in the process.
What are we, the victims, suppose to do? When I was being harassed a lot of people came out of the woodwork, who had been harassed by her, in support of me and my family. I am thankful for these people. I can understand the anger that people feel right now because she has been doing this for a long long time and even though we can provide the proof, no one really cares until it starts happening to them.
Trisha will not stop until she is forced to stop. Until the law catches up with her and someone high up says "No, this is not ok" this will continue to go on. Check back on Mom Dot in a few days or weeks, as soon as all of this "blows over" in her mind then she will be back to the same old stuff. I am sure that she is loving this blog because it brings more attention to her. Any press is good press.
I have talked to over a dozen PR reps months before this blog ever existed and they asked about her and if in my opinion if they should work with her and I have always said no. I backed my response by telling them to read the hateful posts on her blog and to be prepared that if they refused to work with her they would be bashed so to keep an eye out.
    Cont Below....

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have NEVER badmouthed one person online yet I have been badmouthed. I have tried to help out every person that has crossed my path online. I have lead by example but was still harassed for a year. Is that fair, no, but you cant expect for me to be quite at this point in time when people are actually starting to realize that this woman will try to destroy you for her own personal gain. There is no place for Trisha Haas in the blogging community and while I don't think that those who support her should be banned I do think that those who have no problem harassing someone that they don't even know just because Trisha says so should suffer the repercussions of their actions.
In my opinion this blog, this site, may just save a life. We are here to support each other and to say "Hey, you are not alone".
Trisha may be getting attacked for what she has posted but if you cant take it don't dish it out. She is far from hurt and depressed right now and is just trying to get sympathy. If you dont believe me then read what was written in her forum about her not having money for Christmas gifts for her daughter due to having to hire lawyers due to harassment and then go read her most recent blog post. She lists toys that sponsors just sent for her to review as Christmas presents for her daughter. What she listed is more than one of my children sees in a year present wise.
So, I respect your opinion but you need to respect the opinion of those who have been harassed and hurt by Trisha Haas. Let us get it out and comfort each other anon. If you don't like what you read then don't visit the site.
Also, if you think this is bashing and badmouthing her then you are so wrong. I am stating fact. It is a fact that I was bullied by her, it is a fact that it almost drove me to suicide, it is a fact that she contradicts herself it is a fact that she will destroy anyone for her personal gain, it is a fact that she does not care about anyone but herself. These are all facts.

  26. Scott...You posted "I never stated that I think posting on this site is the reason I am blocked from MomDot. I think it is because she isn't familiar with me and likely is concerned I am just another hater."

I was a member of the MomDot Forum, I never cared for some of her posts but I did like learning from the other members of MomDot. I signed up for the blog when it became private and was given access.

The day I posted on OLS that I didn't support that post was the day I was banned from the forum and the blog. I no longer have access to either. I never said anything negative about Trisha or MomDot and the comment I put on the OLS forum only said that even though I agree that the post was wrong I still enjoyed the forum. I also took the MomDot badge off my blog. Now I guess I'm the enemy in a war I didn't want to be a part of.

In a way I'm glad I'm banned because while I was debating whether to cut all ties with the forum and MomDot Trisha made that decision for me.

ok, so i figured it out now. Everyone has a misconception of what a normal person is supposed to look like. Not a thin person, a NORMAL person. This is overweight for a teenager and not one person can admit that.

CHUBBY? No, chubby is what is on children between 8 and preteen before they get taller. This is fat.

    Soda and mcdonalds.

    The end.

  32. You guys are hilarious. First off, I wouldn't ever be intentionally mean to anyone, I love people and I love my children. The "retard" reference was due to that fact that it's not a phrase I use but notice that people use it as a "bad word" when I actually looked up the definition, I said I would qualify. Not because I pee in the shower. Geez.

Also I have no idea what compete is. I am WAY too cheap to buy traffic and don't even know how to go about doing it. If you want to up your Alexa ranking, you simply need to be sure to have their button within their site, at least that's what my husband told me. You know what? Who's to say I don't have a slight amount of retardation? As I stated in that post, I can say that because I actually exhibit some of those characteristics. There are different types of mental disabilities and if seems Anon. is the offensive one (and a little weak if you can't post your name to back your statements up).

The picture of my son DOES look like that picture in South Park. What's wrong with that? It is a hilarious picture from a photo session when he had that gap in his tooth and got mad. He's 4 now and even HE thinks it's funny.

I love the brands I represent. I'm honest, witty (I think anyway) and I bring in a different audience than a "typical" mom blogger may bring. I have never spoken ill of anyone and only make fun of myself and if you really want to see who's being nasty, take a look at the comments here.

I've met Trisha a few times and think she's a lovely woman, I can't speak for anything you are all saying about her but just the name of thise blog shows that you created it to be cruel, and the comments are cruel as well.

If you don't like the content a person writes, simply don't read it. If you have a valid complaint about content, leave a comment and back it up with your NAME, not something fake or anon. Maybe you're misinterpreting what the writer is trying to say.

I'm good to my readers, I'm good to the companies I work with and I am an active member of the community. I use Momspective as my personal blog and advise companies that I use foul language and may have offensive content and they choose to work with me. I have the Wii Mommies where I work as hard as I can to help motivate and inspire individuals to improve their health and because of me and the members of that group, dozens of people have lost quite a bit of weight.

I'd appreciate it if you would just not visit my website, I don't really like having mean spirited people who speak ill of others reading my material.

Momspective is her personal blog where she is being open and humerous, and is not hurting anyone else...She is very supportive and professional on her professional type blogs like Wii Mommies. To me I love the combo of the two, getting support when I need it, and great reviews, or getting a laugh(at her expense, not others)

I am just here because of the comment about momspective....dont see the comparison as momspective isnt bashing anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think it's amazing how 'ANON' is bashing people, but doesn't have the balls to show his/her actual name on here. Something ironic about blogging, is that if you don't want to read it - then you don't have too. NO ONE makes you. It's a choice. Beauty of america.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Julie (Momspective) is an amazing person. Bashing her because you don't like her sense of humor is petty.

Julie has and would go out of her way to help anyone. Maybe instead of bashing her here you should reach out to her and try to get to know her.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It seems to me that creating a whole site to bash a person who you claim bashes people is a bit hypocritical?

I honestly don't read Trisha that much, although I have met her in person, and she is a delightful person. If you don't like what she says, don't go there. simple.

Julie at Momspective, on the other hand is a great friend and business partner of mine, and although her style is very different than mine, she is refreshing, honest, funny, and yes: un-politically-correct. She would never knowingly offend someone, and again, if you don't like it, don't read it! I am so tired of the "word police" destroying people because they use a word that you think is offensive. She has freedom of speech, and you have freedom to NOT READ!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I am here because of Julie at Momspective! She is an AWESOME person with an amazing personality and HEART! I started reading her on Wii Mommies 1st and then "met" her for real on her personal blog. I've never met her IRL, but feel like I know her because of her blog and all her Wii Mommies inspiration. She IS truly an inspiring & fantastic person- that I KNOW -and if others can't see that...I feel sorry for them!! I also feel quite sorry for all the people that have so much time on their hands they not only read blogs of people they don't like, but then create an entire site just to bash people...really sad!

You know, everyone has a point. How can you complain about someone being mean and offensive (me and Trisha) and then dedicate a mean and offensive website to being so cruel and hurtful?

    Shame on you.

  40. Hmmm, I wasn't going to give this blog the time of day until I got to the comment about Julie.

There are a lot of REALLY good blogs out there like Julie's at Momspective. She has never said a mean word about anybody and if she makes fun of somebody its herself. I don't see the harm in that.

I have never read Trish's blog but if I did and actually found it offensive, I wouldn't read it and I'd leave it at that.

I disagree with the anon who say you are like Trisha, your blog makes it known it may be offensive, unlike Trisha's who is suppose to just be a mommy blog giving advice and such...then she turns around and takes pictures of STRANGERS and makes fun of them...you joke about yourself and your family and that's completely different to me.

This blog was made to try to get her to realize what she is doing is wrong, she's oblivious to the fact that posting pictures of strangers, minor children at that, is just plain wrong. The creator of this blog has made it clear if she apologizes for posting that picture of a girl who she claims is fat...then the blog will come down.

I do support this blog (and have from the beginning) and the reason it was created, to stop a 31 yr old bully from picking on strangers and kids.

I have to say Julie, I'm sorry your blog got somehow drug into this, I like your blog and plan to keep up with it.

  44. I'm truly touched by the response this post has gotten in my defense. Someone else found it and sent me the link and I honestly don't know where they found it but Jackie, your words meant a lot to me. Thank you!

  45. oh where oh where is highly opinionated Anon now? Getting tired of all of the Julie lovin? I think it's pretty clear - read her blog or don't - but if you read it, that's because you want too. Not because anyone made you. Haters never win.

  46. It is SO wonderful to Trisha's people come together! What a holiday season. I guess you are going to protect her from all of the "threats" to! LMAO. I like Julie's blog. However, it is no where near the same as Trisha's. Trisha is mean. It's only a matter of time and you will find out for yourself. Merry Christmas.

  47. "Haters never win." Be sure to tell Hassiegirl that.

  48. I dont think this is about Julie at Momspective.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I would not be surprised if that comment about Momspective was to divert attention from Trisha and her acts. No one cares what people do, is that people who do bad continue and continue. Do as you please. LOL

  50. Someone should send her cussing tweets to these major corporations--she likes the f-word quite a bit! Her twitter has a link to her blog, which hosts these company's ads...

    ReplyDelete
  51. ya know I'm not sure why this blog fell silent but it's really too bad. The thought of bloggers banning together to make a difference and make something better was great but now ...........silence.

I'm not just disappointed in this blog but in the bloggers who feel they didn't agree with Trisha but they would stay because they couldn't make it go w/out her.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I am sure this has opened the eyes of many out there.

    What a dumbass. http://www.momdot.com/please-pray-for-shellie

And she is saying that people want to kill her. Its been a month and she is posting her adderss on her blog. You would think since she has had sooo many threats that she would be more cautious.

She suckered a lot out there and they have no clue. Very easy to see who has common sense. But what can you say when the Momdot bloggers live off of attention. They dont care what happens along as they get that traffic and attention.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Anon above me summed it up well- it's all about publicity and attention, not compassion and giving. This is why Trisha does everything so publicly. I wonder if her friend, who is grieving the loss of her son, appreciated Trisha making the loss of that child all about her and how lucky she feels that her child was never harmed during the many close calls she's had while Mommy was busy playing...ahem, I mean "working at home"...online.

  54. Where does Trisha Haas get ad revenue from? Everyone needs to write to her sponsors and have her removed. She has serious control-freak issues, along with just being plain vulgar and nasty.

  57. Yes, I agree. Open a new blog or fire this one up! Her behavior us unacceptable and needs to end.

    ReplyDelete
  58. What I want to know is what gives her the right to announce other bloggers misfortunes on her blog. First the passing of a young boy then the suicide of a young woman. She seems to be trying to cash in on other's tragities. It is sick.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I see her site is now temporarily down. First I don't condone the death of a child while his mother is tweeting and nor do I condone her actions after the death of the child with the most recent of the donations going to a Disney vacation. Trisha has had her hand in two deaths so far and is profiting from both. I hope the family of the young woman go after Trisha with full barrels. First she went into this woman's account after death to post info and pictures without the next of kin consent, second she posted cause of death without next of kin consent and third she diverted funds from the dead woman's account via sponsors to her site. That is about as low as you can get, stealing from the dead. I can see a law suit out of this one so perhaps Trisha will finally heap what she has sowed. At any rate 2 people are dead and guess who made money off of their deaths?

  60. That blog, even if "momdot" owns it (?anyone know?how else did she get in?), it would seem to me, would now be a part of Karissa Gindling's estate, until her "contract" is up. Trisha had NO right to go into her blog and add to it. This woman has many issues!

    ReplyDelete
  61. i am with the rest of you... she is a monster. HOWEVER, the biggest problem i have is that she is the leader of this network of other moms who are supposed to be ethical bloggers. presumably, they make themselves available to promote any corporate sponsorship that comes their way. do they not realize that it is guilt by association for all of them? maybe i shouldn't, but i think anyone that i see on her site, supporting her or even just associating with her is just as bad. why any corporation with any moral standards would want to be a part of that is beyond me. gross.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I"m banned from MomDot so I can't see aht else she's done. What's with the Madison McGraw link? Who else has died?! Fill me in.

    ReplyDelete
  63. do i need to rewrite my will and specify that should tragedy befall me, i don't want the internet to know about it? i am not shocked that trisha thinks this sort of town crier/inappropriate attention seeker is her role in blog land. but she just knows no boundaries. scary.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Ok so I managed to look a bit further. She is just scum. I hope someone sues the hell out of her. Not that they would get anything.

  65. Trisha has once again has shown how little class she has, she hacked a deceased ladies blog, here is the link:

  66. sorry last post not clear as to what I was saying, the link is to a lady that Trish used to get info, and the lady is telling what happened

  67. Holy Cow! Trisha Haas' nose is like the creepy child-catcher's on Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang!!!

  68. I heard she really does have a lawyer and is comming after this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  69. if Trish really has a lawyer, she needs to remember; "what goes around comes around". I sure hope that the people that she has scorned and ridiculed, (through her blog, and has the prof) get a lawyer and go after her, and the family of the account that Trish hacked, nail her lying ass to the wall. Most of all I really really hope that her "sponsers" drop her ass,

    ReplyDelete
  70. I hear Anonymous that said "I heard she really does have a lawyer and is coming after this blog" is a moron name Trisha, who doesn't even know what is cause for slander. Truth is not suiable idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Skankdot is watching you. O_O

    ReplyDelete
  72. she's going after whomever she THINKS runs this blog. although I'd love to see the lawsuit when this all really hits the media and that teenager sees a picture of herself.

btw look at trishas kid she's the one who's chubby. trisha has long talked about the weight and the ridicule her child has experienced.

  73. Good grief what a nightmare this woman is.

  74. Does anybody know what's become of the petition?

    ReplyDelete
  75. No, its needs to be brought back up along with all the shit she did. She now just sits back like nothing ever happened. Hopefully that is not the case. Only time will tell. I would think someone would have had hired a lawyer by now.

Here is the petition, send it around!!!
